Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is a specialized form of manual therapy that focuses on the management of soft tissue pain and dysfunction. It combines techniques from various modalities, including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue massage. NMT aims to restore balance to the neuromuscular system by addressing issues such as muscle tension, imbalances, and restricted movement.

NMT is often used for conditions like headaches, neck and back pain, sports injuries, and repetitive strain injuries. Many pains and injuries involve the connective tissue and it's neighboring components yet many therapies focus on bone alignment without treating the fabric of connective tissue that actually moves our bones.
